a few months back, i recieved a very nasty virus on my computer and lost several months of the parkway photos i've been taking. I cried. Some of the files lost were the photos i took of the very beginning of the parkway i took last september.
One year and one month later, i revisited the very beginning of the blue ridge parkway. I was accompanied by my good friend [link] and we explored from Mile marker 0 all the way to The Peaks of Otter (some 80 miles in). Next week we go back for another stretch. But the only real way to begin this trip is with something symbolic: a sunrise. To view the original photo: [link] Comments
incredible sunrise, it's been awhile since I was conscious for one, the time change won't help that...

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." - Helen Keller yeah... i've got to do some backing up myself. i still have about 45GB of photo work to do something with...
its too bad they don't have an easy way to back up that much. its just a pain to have that many DVDs laying around... -- Joseph Hawk ~ [link] I can only imagine. I have a pretty big pile of DVD's myself. In your case, almost wonder that it wouldn't be better to have some external hard drives just for back-up purposes.
There are some (never used them) that are supposed to be push-button back-up. -- Member of ~oO-ReflectionS-Oo *photography-key ~unknownphotographers =Cityscapes-Club "Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." - Helen Keller |
